Content on the D6 updates automatically and provides the latest news and calendar events. It also contains a contact list and a range of useful links and Rand Park High School documents.

INSTALLATION IS SIMPLE

To download the d6 School Communicator app, go to your device’s app store (Google Play for Android, App Store for iOS), search for “D6 School Communicator South Africa” or “d6 School Communicator”, select the correct app, and tap “Install” to download and install it on your device.

Please select “Rand Park High School” from the drop-down list of schools and complete the installation.

NEWsletters / test programmes / PROJECTS

In order to keep you informed about events at the school, a link to the website which will allow you access to the newsletter will be emailed to you bi-weekly.
At the beginning of each term, a Test Programme, which gives details of Group and Class Tests, and a Project Programme are also emailed to all parents.

All these documents are also posted on the d6 School Communicator under Resources.

Parents are advised to place these programmes in a convenient spot so that they can be consulted often. In this way, parents will be able to help their children in planning for tests, exams and forthcoming school events.

PARENTS' EVENINGS

These are arranged in the second and third term in order to afford parents the opportunity of meeting their children’s educators and discussing their progress.

A special meeting with Grade 9 parents is arranged in the third term to discuss fields of study and subject choices for Grade 10.

APPOINTMENTS

The Principal and senior staff are available to discuss problems or queries connected with learners, or the school. Parents are asked, in the first instance, to contact the Grade Tutor responsible for their child. Appointments should be made through the school secretaries or you may email the Grade Tutor directly. Grade Tutors’ contact details are available on the d6 School Communicator app. Should the matter not be resolved, the matter may be referred to the Dean responsible for that particular grade, and then to the Principal.
